CORONAVIRUS BUSINESS UPDATE
9th November 2020
Stove, Cooker & Bathroom Showroom: Following the conclusion of the most recent lockdown, our showrooms have now re-opened. We will return operating on a pre-booked appointment basis. We feel this offers you the most comfortable and safest way to visit our premises, whilst allowing us to ensure we have the correct number and expertise of staff to dedicate to you on site. Appointments can be made via phone on 01745 582254, email on email@example.com or through our Facebook page. Please try to book as far in advance as possible. We will try to accommodate drop in visitors, but you may be asked to wait if all of our advisors are with other customers.
Building & Plumbing Counter: Our trade counter is operating as normal to supply trade and public with building, plumbing and heating products. Deliveries will be available subject to our usual delivery radius and minimum delivery charges.
All our Covid precautions initially instigated to protect customers and staff will remain in place.
Opening times will be 7.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am – 1pm Saturday.

Having understood the regulations regarding a further 17 day lockdown for Wales, beginning at 6pm on Friday 23rd October, as an essential business under the ‘Building and hardware stores’ category, we are pleased to say that our doors will remain open.
Building & Plumbing Counter: Our trade counter will operate as normal to supply those trades able to continuing working and offer building and plumbing products for essential home maintenance to trade and public alike. Deliveries will be available subject to our usual delivery radius and minimum delivery charges.
Stove, Cooker & Bathroom Showroom: Our showrooms will see a reduction in staff numbers as the majority of our team are asked to stay safe at home, however, we will have a small team able to deal with customers in store. We ask you to consider if a visit to our store is essential and if so, please call first to book an appointment. Most queries or even orders can be dealt with over the phone on 01745 582254, via email via firstname.lastname@example.org or through our social media channels on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

Following the most recent Welsh Government announcement we have further amended how we operate during the Coronavirus situation.
Our trade counter hours have increase to 7.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday for both our trade customers across the construction industry and our walk in retail customers. Our product range will include building, plumbing, heating, gardening and fuel supplies.
We are now also able to offer local deliveries subject to a minimum order value of £100. Customers placing orders prior to the lockdown will also be able to arrange delivery of items now in stock.
Our showrooms remain closed to walk in customers as we look to protect both staff and the wider public. We are operating on an appointment basis to minimise contact, whilst providing a high service level. Appointments can be booked Monday to Friday via telephone on 01745 582254 or via our Facebook page.
We will be available via phone or email between 7.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday to answer calls and take orders via phone or email.

After much consideration we will partially reopen for business from 7.30am on Monday 11th May.
We hope to be able to assist both our trade customers across the construction industry and our regular retail customers requiring products for urgent repairs and essential fuel supplies. If your need doesn’t fall into these categories, please think twice before visiting our store.
Our showrooms will remain closed, although you can call or email for advice or to place an order. We will not be carrying out any deliveries initially.
We have made a number of alterations to our business to ensure we follow recommended guidelines to keep both our employees and customers safe, including social distancing and limiting customer entry. Please ensure you follow all instructions detailed before entering the store.
Our new opening times will be 7.30am – 4pm Monday to Friday. We will assess the situation on a daily basis to ensure we can operate safely, with any changes posted here.

Following the Government’s statement on the evening of Monday 23rd March 2020 we have taken the decision to temporarily close all areas of our store, including showrooms and our trade counter. We will also be suspending all deliveries.
Whilst we are classed under the ‘Home and hardware stores’ category that the government will allow to remain open within health & safety guidelines, we feel that for the safety of our team, customers and local community and to aid with the effort to social distance, this is the correct decision.
We will continue to monitor the situation and amend this stance only when safe to do so.
